Returns and exchanges are welcome within 30 days of delivery, as long as the products are in new condition. Please
contact us to discuss the return and receive prior to shipping your products

Our Story

In the Pacific Northwest skookum means really good. We think that our baby gear is pretty skookum,
and we hope that you agree.
Skookum Baby started by accident. Encouraged by a friend, Amber decided to try making an Asian baby carrier on a whim.
It was so comfortable and versatile that it immediately became her favourite piece of baby gear. Trained as engineer,
she saw room for improvement. An obsessive quest followed, as Amber experimented with different fabrics,
styles, and processes. However, one family can only use so many baby carriers. When friends started asking for
carriers of their own a small business was born.
We are expecting our second child in August 2008. While we are overjoyed, we cannot run our little business and take
care of a newborn and preschooler in the way we would like. So, we closed up shop on June 8, 2008. Our whole family
would like to thank you for your support and business, and we hope that you continue to enjoy your Skookum Baby Gear!
